Incorporating tele-Rehab into clinical practice can seem daunting at the beginning for a clinician or health organization. This section includes a variety of How-To checklists, guides, information about different telehealth platforms and videos to keep you on the right track. You can also find information from different organizational bodies on matters such as best practices, billing, and confidentiality.

According to recent surveys, many clinicians have questions about how they can supervise students remotely. In this section you can find a lot of resources to support quality, virtual student supervision.

In this section, you will find a collection of resources and assessment tools that have been developed by the international community and compiled for you by the TeleRehab SPOT group; specifically for the telehealth sphere. Many well-known standardized assessments transfer easily for virtual use, and in certain cases, norms have been established, however, they are not listed on this website as they are implemented in the usual way. Please note that this is not an exhaustive directory of all the assessments that can be used with a certain population, but rather an emerging record of virtual assessment tools which can enhance tele-Rehab clinical practice. The tele-Rehab assessments found here can be used as an alternative to, or in addition to, the multitude of assessments that are commonly used. Some tools have been thoroughly researched while others have been developed clinically. As you peruse, click the evidence button to find updated research or research in progress.

While many in-person treatments have been adapted for virtual use, this section will focus uniquely on treatments that have been purposefully developed for tele-Rehab. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of all the treatments that can be used with a certain population, but rather a collection of virtual treatment tools which can enhance tele-Rehab clinical practice. There are several hundred apps that have been developed for health management that can be recommended and used virtually with your clients. We have collated the treatments that our clinical community finds to be most relevant for clinicians.
